Our Story

A modern family-operated cafe in a beautifully designed space. Co-founders Jared and Michaela Jones strive to create a seamless connection between primary and secondary producers to provide ethically sourced eats for the local community.

Our vibrant menu was designed by Head Chef and owner Jared Jones, who began his cooking career in a French-inspired Winery Restaurant led by hatted chef Eric Robinson.

Upon completing his apprenticeship, Jared travelled around Australia and Asia working in some amazing locations helping produce some of the country’s best offerings. Jared landed in Melbourne in 2012, where he worked alongside Scott Picket at The Point in Albert Park and Paul Davies of The Merchant’s Guild.

After completing his tenure in the South Pacific, Jared opened his own venue on the Queensland coast serving Asian fusion eats delving into the world of molecular gastronomy and all its offerings. Jared and the team came close to achieving the goal of a hat in their first year of operation, with a very respectable score.

Upon returning to Melbourne, Jared immersed himself in the Melbourne cafe scene opening and consulting for several venues throughout the city.
